You will analyze meteorological data and provide accurate weather forecasts and risk communication to customers. This is a shift work role requiring flexibility to cover evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in meteorology, atmospheric science, or related field
  • Proven experience in weather forecasting or meteorological analysis
  • Strong knowledge of meteorological principles and weather patterns
  • Familiarity with meteorological data sources and radar systems
  • Proficiency with weather forecasting software and data visualization tools

Responsibilities

  • Analyze meteorological data from satellites, radar, stations, and models
  • Monitor and interpret weather patterns to develop accurate forecasts
  • Use forecasting software and models to generate predictions
  • Collaborate with team to refine forecast accuracy
  • Prepare and deliver forecasts via reports, presentations, and social media
