You'll lead assembly, integration, and test of novel optical systems for spaceborne platforms. You'll own procurement, optical assembly, and test activities to mature prototypes into production systems at a defense technology company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead assembly, integration, and test of novel optical systems.
• Work with optical suppliers to procure elements and verify acceptance.
• Generate alignment plans and procedures for optical systems.
• Interface with test teams to qualify optical performance.

📋 Requirements

• BS in Engineering or Physics with Optics concentration.
• 5+ years experience with complex opto-mechanical systems.
• Experience in free space optical systems integration for space/airborne.
• Eligible to obtain U.S. Secret security clearance.

✨ Nice to Have

• MS or PhD in Optics.
• Experience with Zygo MX, 4D 4Sight, or Apre Reve interferometry.
• Knowledge of image quality metrics and data analysis methods.
