Description

You will process and analyze specimens, maintain lab equipment, and collaborate with a team of CLSs. You'll also train new hires, troubleshoot issues, and ensure production targets are met while adhering to GLP and SOPs.

Requirements

• 4+ years as Medical Technologist in clinical lab
• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences or equivalent
• Current California CLS or CGMBS license
• Experience in Molecular Biology
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Verify specimens and perform correct tests according to SOPs
• Assist team in day-to-day lab work with minimal errors
• Train new hires in lab processes and new process changes
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and escalate issues
• Ensure production work completed timely and all samples accounted for
