Description

You will execute on the commercial growth strategy for the Immune Medicine business, generating sales revenue through fee-for-service research offerings and strategic partnerships with biopharma, biotech, and academic customers. You will manage a sales team, source and close deals, and deepen relationships to embed Adaptive as the preferred immune sequencing platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years (Director) or 17+ years (Senior Director) progressive experience in biotech/pharma/life sciences
  • Advanced degree preferred (Master's or PhD)
  • 5+ years progressive sales or commercial leadership with proven revenue generation
  • 4+ years (Director) or experience (Senior Director) supervising a sales team with revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of research markets and drug development (genomics, immunology, cell biology, etc.)
  • Extensive network and relationship building skills
  • Executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership and C-suite
  • Strong presentation, strategic, and analytic skills
  • Self-starter and independent thinker
  • Experience with multidisciplinary teams (R&D, Legal, Finance, Operations)

Responsibilities

  • Generate IM sales revenue and new bookings
  • Own and manage a growing book of business
  • Prospect, negotiate and close FFS deals with existing and new customers
  • Manage contracts and contract negotiations
  • Develop and deepen relationships with biotech, pharma, academic, CROs, and technology partners
  • Partner with finance, legal, and R&D to execute agreements
  • Develop team members, provide feedback, and manage career growth
  • Communicate accurately to leadership and customers
