As a GIS/HD Mapping Engineer at Gatik, you will develop and optimize a production pipeline for high-definition maps using LiDAR and camera data. You'll build geospatial processing tools, validate road network topology, and collaborate with teams to deliver maps under tight timelines. This role is key to advancing autonomous middle-mile logistics.

• Deep passion for geospatial data
• Strong software engineering skills
• Experience with large-scale LiDAR and camera datasets
• Proficiency in Python for geospatial data processing
• Ability to work onsite 5 days/week in Mountain View, CA

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the HD Mapping production pipeline
• Process, clean, and validate large-scale LiDAR point cloud datasets
• Extract and refine road-based linear and polygonal features
• Perform topology validation of road networks
• Develop and maintain Python-based geospatial data processing tools
