💼 About This Role

You'll develop and implement quality control processes for precision-machined components at Venus Aerospace, a company revolutionizing rocket propulsion. You'll lead root cause investigations and build out the QC department for scalability, directly collaborating with machinists and engineers to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain quality control processes for machined parts.
• Perform in-process and first article inspections using CMM and GD&T.
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations for nonconformances.
• Partner with engineering and manufacturing for supplier quality reviews.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Quality, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience in precision manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T interpretation and precision measurement tools.
• Experience with quality tools like FMEA, SPC, and RCCA.

✨ Nice to Have

• CQE or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with inspection software such as PC-DMIS or Zeiss.
• Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management systems.
