You'll work with the Collaborative Surveillance team to strengthen data use and decision science across four African countries. Your core impact is ensuring data drives better public health decisions through improved analytical products and decision support tools. This consultancy runs through August 2026 with possible extension.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop innovative data use products like outbreak reports and dashboards.
• Implement automated production pipelines with documentation and SOPs.
• Provide technical accompaniment and mentorship on capstone projects.
• Train in-country teams on digital tools like DHIS2, EMS, and R.

📋 Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., public health).
• 5-7 years experience in applied epidemiology or data science.
• Proficiency in R and R Markdown for analytics and reporting.
• Experience working with public health surveillance data.

• Experience with DHIS2 or Emergency Management System.
• Background in capacity building in low-resource settings.
