💼 About This Role

You'll develop, commission, and operate flight vehicle recovery assets for a fully reusable launch vehicle. Your work enables rapid return-to-launch cadence. You'll own the full product lifecycle from architecture to operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Provide engineering oversight across structural, mechanical, piping, HVAC and automation
  • Interface with external vendors, regulatory bodies and classification societies
  • Review and approve technical drawings and test procedures
  • Develop and manage technical specifications
  • Support factory acceptance testing of all applicable equipment

📋 Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in maritime engineering, shipyard refits, or offshore operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in naval architecture, marine engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or physics
  • Strong engineering fundamentals across multiple disciplines
  • Experience working directly with IACS surveyors

✨ Nice to Have

  • 10+ years of experience in a related role in the maritime industry
  • Familiarity with AFSPCMAN 91-710 range requirements
  • Master’s degree in a related field
