You'll bridge hardware domain expertise with modern data infrastructure, building the platform for AI-driven decisions across 13+ hardware programs. You'll engage directly with foundries and engineering teams to define data flows and deliver reliable data pipelines for high-volume manufacturing. This role uniquely combines hands-on data engineering with semiconductor domain knowledge.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Engage with foundries and engineering teams to align on data formats and quality.
• Design and maintain data pipelines for wafer-level through system validation data.
• Build data models in dbt on Snowflake for analytics and AI/ML workflows.
• Develop performance metrics pipelines translating hardware data into actionable insights.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Photonics, Data Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in data engineering or related role in semiconductor or hardware manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Dagster/Airflow or similar modern data stack.

✨ Nice to Have

• Master’s or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Photonics with 4+ years experience.
• Background in silicon photonics or photonic integrated circuits.
• Experience with High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) ramps or NPI data workflows.
