Description

As a Product Designer Associate at OBE, you'll support the design and development of architectural window, entrance, and glazing systems, working with cross-functional teams from concept through market launch.

Requirements

• 0-3 years design or product development experience
• Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor, AutoCAD) and design tools (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Understanding of architectural drawings and construction documents
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or similar preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of architectural aluminum fenestration systems
• Create 2D and 3D component designs using AutoCAD and Inventor
• Participate in usability testing and incorporate feedback
• Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for production
• Assist with engineering change documentation and revision control
