💼 About This Role

You'll work on real audio data for a large-scale multilingual speech-to-text and translation project, creating verbatim transcriptions and English translations. Your contributions will directly support advanced language technology development. This is a flexible remote contractor role with diverse project opportunities.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Produce verbatim transcripts from audio including noises and crosstalk
• Translate transcribed content into natural fluent English
• Review and correct transcripts or translations for accuracy
• Perform both transcription and translation in dual-role workflows

📋 Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Kinyarwanda
• Graduate qualification in translation or linguistics, or equivalent experience
• 5 years full-time professional translation experience if no language degree
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
