Description

You will own the end-to-end user journey for CockroachDB's globally consistent, highly available, and low-latency transactions. You'll define strategy, prioritize features, and drive measurable outcomes using customer signals and performance data to help enterprises standardize on CockroachDB.

Requirements

• Seasoned Product Manager with experience in database, infrastructure, or platform products
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, transactional processing, and multi-region architectures
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills to align Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Executives
• Ability to leverage qualitative and quantitative data for prioritization and decision-making

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end CockroachDB Efficient Always-on Transactions user journey
• Define metrics for price-performance, multi-region survivability, plan stability, and support ticket ratios
• Build a problem-first, data-driven strategy based on customer pain points like TCO and scale limits
• Deliver measurable outcomes by tracking competitive win rates, workload expansion, and latency-related tickets
• Act as the voice of the customer for Architects, DBAs, SREs, and Developers
