Description

You will develop signal processing algorithms and software for RF applications including detection, localization, and tracking. Your work will support real-world problems in defense, biomedicine, and machinery monitoring, with opportunities to present to high-level customers and publish findings.

Requirements

• Experience in signal processing algorithm development for RF applications
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and real-time implementation on FPGAs/GPUs/SDRs
• Knowledge of detection, localization, tracking, beamforming, and spectral analysis
• Ability to work with real-world RF data and conduct performance testing
• US citizenship required (implied by DoD work)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize signal and array processing algorithms for RF applications
• Process and interpret RF datasets for signal detection, classification, tracking, and parameter estimation
• Develop simulation models in Python/MATLAB and implement on real-time platforms (FPGAs, GPUs, SDRs)
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate DSP algorithms into RF systems
• Conduct laboratory and field testing to validate system performance
