Description

You will develop communication systems and RF sensors for Starship, taking components from concept to orbit, the Moon, and Mars. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on system-level and link-level design, develop and simulate signal processing algorithms, and own products end-to-end.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, or engineering
• 5+ years professional experience designing and verifying modems and sensors
• 5+ years developing signal processing algorithms in Python, Matlab, or C/C++
• Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR)
• Extended hours and weekend work may be required

Responsibilities

• System-level and link-level design for spacecraft communications and sensing systems
• Work across disciplines with RF/antenna, FPGA, and software engineers
• Develop floating-point and fixed-point models and run simulations
• Support FPGA designers with bit-accurate and cycle-accurate RTL verification
• Own end-to-end results from requirements through production and flight
