💼 About This Role

You'll architect end-to-end systems for processing satellite imagery data and build dashboards and APIs that power climate-finance products. Your work will directly help move millions of tonnes of CO₂ through verifiable nature-based projects. This role offers the unique chance to own the product from raw satellite ingestion to on-chain registries and to work with top academics while setting technical direction.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design satellite-image processing pipelines from STAC to Parquet/Zarr.
• Build dashboards in Next.js/React and geospatial APIs in Node/Python/FastAPI.
• Automate infrastructure with IaC, CI/CD, and Prefect orchestration.
• Establish engineering best practices and mentor future engineers.

📋 Requirements

• Python for data and TypeScript for React/Next.js/Node.js.
• Data infrastructure with Dask/DuckDB, S3, Prefect, Parquet/Arrow/Zarr.
• GIS/remote sensing with Google Earth Engine, Rasterio, GDAL, xarray, GeoPandas, STAC.
• Cloud/DevOps with Docker, IaC, AWS, and observability tools.

• Experience leading a small team or owning a large production system.
• GPU accelerated image processing (cuDF, RAPIDS, TorchGeo).
• Machine Learning knowledge and MLOps (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
