Description

You will design and build scalable, low-downtime data migration services for MongoDB Atlas, working across the stack to deliver features that enterprise customers rely on. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to solve distributed systems challenges and own major feature delivery from ideation to production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, primarily backend systems
• Skilled in writing large-scale distributed backend systems in a compiled language (Java, C#, Go)
• Comfortable working across the stack (React, TypeScript, Enzyme)
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Led the launch of new features and maintained them in production

Responsibilities

• Design and build solutions for scalability, performance, and usability challenges in a distributed environment
• Own planning and delivery of major features from ideation through design and implementation
• Work closely with product, design, and engineers across the organization to build customer-facing features
• Stay up to date on cloud computing and software development advancements
• Mentor and contribute to the growth of team members
