You'll design and implement internal tool sets and Kubernetes-based platform ecosystems for Vonage's engineering teams, reducing toil and streamlining application modernization. Your core impact will be ensuring SLA/SLO and cost objectives are met while adopting GitOps practices. This role offers the chance to extensively utilize open source projects and contribute to the platform's vision.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement Cloud Native Kubernetes-based platform ecosystems
• Develop 'glue' code integrating open source systems and enhancing features
• Automate Kubernetes infrastructure deployment using Terraform, Crossplane
• Maintain HA, scalability, and cost efficiency with GitOps practices

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years experience in cloud computing and software development
• Coding skills in Python or Go
• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and CNCF tooling
• Automation with Terraform, Crossplane, Helm, Argo

✨ Nice to Have

• Expertise in building platform tooling in Kubernetes
• Experience with Go operator framework
• Familiarity with observability platforms like Prometheus, Grafana
