Description

You will design and evolve core pricing services, collaborate with data scientists and product teams, and own production systems that power Opendoor's pricing platform. Your work will have direct impact on business outcomes and the future of real estate.

Requirements

• 5+ years backend software engineering experience
• Experience building production systems in Go or Python
• Deep proficiency with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience designing, building, and evolving APIs in microservices
• Experience with distributed systems concepts (scalability, consistency, resiliency)

Responsibilities

• Own design and evolution of core pricing services
• Design data models and write high-performance SQL on PostgreSQL
• Architect and improve APIs and integrations with marketplace platform
• Productionize pricing models and build robust model-serving pipelines
• Lead technical reviews and set best practices for code quality and observability
