💼 About This Role

You'll design and build services for Klaviyo's centralized authentication and authorization platform, powering login, SSO, MFA, and more. Your work will directly impact engineering velocity, enterprise deals, and data residency. You'll gain deep systems and security expertise while owning features end-to-end.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own features end-to-end for core authN/Z capabilities like login flows and MFA.
• Contribute to auth platform extraction from monolith to microservices.
• Build and maintain shared SDKs and contracts for IAM services.
• Partner with Security and Compliance on secure patterns for account protection.

📋 Requirements

• 2-5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with web services backed by relational databases or caches.
• Familiarity with authentication or authorization concepts (OAuth, SSO, MFA).

✨ Nice to Have

• Building or integrating with IdPs and identity protocols (SAML, OIDC, SCIM).
• Working with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Experience with high-scale distributed systems.
