Description

You will own the integration of control systems and software for Antora's thermal energy storage modules and balance-of-plant systems, architecting the brain of a first-of-a-kind energy technology. This site-based role involves full ownership of software lifecycles, from concept to commissioning, while leveraging modern tools and AI to accelerate workflows.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Automation, or related Engineering, or 5+ years in demanding industrial environments (Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Power Plants)
• Proven PLC/SCADA experience with Allen Bradley (Studio 5000) and/or Ignition (Inductive Automation)
• Familiarity with Modbus, CAN bus, Ethernet/IP, and Profinet
• Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs
• Desired: experience with high-temperature fluid loops, steam generators, or large industrial boilers

Responsibilities

• Architect and design PLC and SCADA software for thermal energy storage and balance-of-plant systems
• Own end-to-end software lifecycles for specific projects from concept to commissioning
• Write and maintain Process Control Narratives, Cause and Effect Diagrams, State Diagrams, and Controls Operations Manuals
• Develop test plans and QA procedures for high-temperature environments
• Provide onsite and remote support during commissioning and troubleshoot field-found issues
