Description

You will manage demand planning and sourcing for mechanical hardware used in the Starshield satellite constellation, working with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and speed. You'll place purchase orders, forecast demand, develop sourcing strategies, and manage vendor performance to support rate production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain
• 2+ years in technical sourcing or procurement preferred
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and material finishes
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and managing BOMs
• Data analysis skills using Excel, SQL, or PowerBI

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices
• Forecast demand and evaluate supplier capacity
• Track high-risk components and supplier delivery performance
• Create sourcing strategies for mechanical and COTS hardware
• Manage outsource fabrication projects and vendor performance
