💼 About This Role

You'll partner with Engineer, Product and Data Science teams to develop Machine Learning models that improve Waymo's Marketplace efficiency. You'll apply ML and optimization to predict conversion and wait times, assign vehicles, and run experiments. This role offers the chance to work on reinforcement learning models in a hybrid setting.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with Engineer, Product and Data Science teams to develop ML models
• Apply ML models to predict conversion, wait times, and retention
• Apply optimization models to assign Waymo cars to customers or positions
• Define, conduct and evaluate experiments on new models

📋 Requirements

• Statistical knowledge
• Coding skills (Python and SQL)
• Experience with Machine Learning
• At least 4 years of industry experience

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with optimization modeling and solver packages (CP-SAT, CPLEX, Gurobi)
• Experience at a ride hailing or marketplace company
