💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Onboarding team at Airwallex, building KYC and risk orchestration for a global payments platform. Your work will reduce barriers for businesses entering new markets. Reporting to senior leadership, you'll drive compliance and scalability.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead talent strategy: recruit, onboard, and develop engineers
• Set goals and career paths for the engineering team
• Manage cross-functional execution with Compliance, Risk, and Operations
• Communicate progress and business impact to executive leadership

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years managing high-performing engineering teams
• Experience building API- and integration-heavy systems in production
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

• Knowledge of fintech regulatory and security standards
• Experience with AI-driven productivity tools or AI integration
• Track record of building products or teams from scratch
