💼 About This Role

You'll own the architecture and implementation of data integrations with major healthcare payers, building the data infrastructure that powers the entire Onos platform. As an early team member, you'll establish best practices for a growing data engineering team. This hybrid role is based in San Francisco.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead architecture and implementation of data integrations with major healthcare payers.
• Build an integration framework to make onboarding faster and more reliable.
• Build monitoring, reconciliation, and data quality systems for each integration.
• Establish engineering best practices and technical foundations for team growth.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in data engineering with healthcare payer data.
• Prior experience leading engineering teams as a tech lead or engineering manager.
• Hands-on experience integrating with health plan systems and EDI X12, HL7, FHIR.
• Strong system design skills with track record of defining requirements and acceptance criteria.

✨ Nice to Have

• Direct experience with QNXT, Facets, Amisys, or similar claims platforms.
• Experience with behavioral health claims data.
• Built data infrastructure powering AI/ML systems.
