💼 About This Role

You'll contribute to the MARA project at Basis Research Institute and Cornell University, developing foundational AI for modeling and reasoning. You'll work on solving the Abstract Reasoning Corpus (ARC) and generalizing to other domains. Collaborate with a team combining neural-symbolic methods and program synthesis.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct independent and collaborative research on the MARA project.
• Develop new methods for modeling, abstraction, and reasoning.
• Apply methods to the Abstract Reasoning Corpus and other domains.
• Disseminate findings through publications and presentations.

📋 Requirements

• PhD in computer science, AI, or related field.
• Strong background in program synthesis or probabilistic programming.
• Experience developing neural-symbolic AI systems.
• Track record of research publications or impactful software projects.
