Description

You will maintain, repair, and modify molds for plastic injection and die casting, support production troubleshooting, and collaborate with engineering to improve tooling and reduce defects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years hands-on tool maintenance/repair with plastic injection molds
• Willingness to work 2nd shift, overtime, and weekends
• Ability to stand, climb, bend, grasp, sit, pull, push, stoop, stretch for long periods
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee per ITAR

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and modify plastic injection and die casting molds
• Disassemble and assemble molds safely and efficiently
• Repair and fabricate cores, cavities, and other components
• Hand work repairs to part details, parting lines, lifters, slides, polished cavities, texture, venting, and spotting
• Support production and maintenance with troubleshooting and create spare parts lists
