💼 About This Role

You'll perform all duties of a dental assistant at Asian Health Services, assisting dentists and hygienists during treatment procedures at our main dental clinic. You'll ensure patient comfort, take x-rays, and provide oral care instructions, working with a diverse patient population in a community health setting. This on-call role offers competitive hourly pay in Oakland.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set up and sterilize dental operatories and instruments.
• Assist dentist and hygienist chairside during procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and education.

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in California.
• Current CPR card.
• Valid X-ray certificate.

• One year paid professional dental assisting experience.
• Ability to speak Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Khmer, Mien, or Tagalog.
• Coronal polishing certificate.
