You'll serve as the technical anchor for the Channels division at Braze, bridging the customer-facing dashboard and underlying delivery engines. Your core impact will be driving architectural direction and ensuring teams ship faster and safer while evolving shared technical foundations. You'll also mentor engineers and champion reliability across the organization.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner on the technical vision and quality bar for the division.
• Drive large, ambiguous projects end-to-end across multiple teams.
• Mentor engineers at every level through code and architecture reviews.
• Champion reliability and operability with improved observability and error handling.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership across multiple teams.
• Ruby on Rails experience and proficiency in modern frontend environments (TypeScript, React).
• Designed and shipped foundational infrastructure used by many engineers.
• Strong architectural judgment and ability to translate technical debt into business risk.

• Experience building shared component libraries or design system primitives.
• Experience with real-time systems or event-driven architectures.
• Experience with developer experience tooling like code generation or CI/CD.
