💼 About This Role

You'll design and build modern data platforms for clients using Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Databricks. You'll combine deep technical expertise with strong consulting skills, engaging directly with clients to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. This role offers the chance to work on impactful data projects in a hybrid environment across multiple US locations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead client discovery sessions, architecture discussions, and solution reviews.
• Develop batch and streaming data ingestion pipelines from diverse sources.
• Implement medallion/Lakehouse architectures and data transformation workflows.
• Engineer solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, SQL, Python, and Delta Lake.

📋 Requirements

• 8 years of experience in data engineering or cloud data solutions
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks or Apache Spark
• Expertise with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and data services (Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI)
• Experience setting end-to-end modern data platforms in Azure including architecture, ingestion, and networking

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure Database for PostgreSQL
• Consulting or professional services experience with clients and stakeholders
• Knowledge of Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Databricks workspace administration
