💼 About This Role

You'll lead credit strategy for a £3bn+ loan portfolio at the UK's fastest-growing fintech, Allica Bank. You'll design frameworks that balance risk and reward, driving growth through data-driven lending decisions. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and a chance to shape portfolio strategy in a high-impact environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design credit strategies to optimize risk and reward
• Conduct deep-dives into portfolio risk and opportunity
• Develop insightful reporting for decision-making committees
• Collaborate on pricing optimization and cross-functional projects

📋 Requirements

• Experience in a data-driven credit risk or analytical role
• Strong analytical problem-solving with data skills
• Ability to understand test & learn methodologies
• Knowledge of credit risk concepts (PD, LGD, EAD)

✨ Nice to Have

• Exposure to commercial lending or SME products
• Familiarity with IFRS9 and credit risk forecasting
• Experience with portfolio monitoring dashboards
