Description

You will lead the architecture and delivery of complex backend systems, including AI-augmented data pipelines and agentic AI integrations, on a SaaS platform serving enterprise customers. Working with microservices, event-driven architectures, and AWS, you'll raise the technical bar through mentorship, design guidance, and setting best practices.

Requirements

• Deep technical expertise in designing high-performance backend systems with Golang, gRPC, and REST
• Experience with event-driven architectures using AWS services: Kinesis, MSK, Glue, Step Functions
• Proficiency in AI/ML integration with LLMs via managed APIs and self-hosted endpoints
• Strong understanding of AWS security best practices (VPC, IAM, PrivateLink, encryption)
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and drive engineering culture and standards

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and delivery of complex backend platform features spanning multiple microservices
• Define technical standards and best practices for backend microservices development
• Design AI-augmented data pipelines integrating model inference, agentic workflows, and LLM processing on AWS
• Evaluate and recommend agentic AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Amazon Bedrock Agents
• Drive platform-wide reliability initiatives: SLO definition, distributed tracing, chaos engineering
