Description

You will oversee and optimize tile production casting and leaching operations, ensuring high-quality heatshield tile manufacturing. You'll train staff, analyze system performance, and drive process improvements to boost efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 5+ years experience in casting, molding, leaching, or chemical manufacturing systems
• Ability to pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral
• Ability to work in high-temperature environments and stand for extended periods
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR)

Responsibilities

• Lead training sessions and develop qualification systems for technicians in fiber delivery and casting operations
• Oversee fiber delivery and casting processes to ensure correct material and chemical dosing
• Analyze system trends and propose inspections to maintain material quality standards
• Implement small-scale process and hardware improvements to boost efficiency
• Own spare parts plan and partner with engineering for maintenance optimization
