Join the Application Modernization Platform (AMP) team at MongoDB to lead a team building a GenAI-powered product suite that transforms legacy applications into modern microservices architectures. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product management to solve critical code transformation challenges.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development and operations experience focusing on platforms and distributable software infrastructure
• 2+ years of experience leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of software engineers
• Extensive product experience in building enterprise-grade analytics systems for data streaming or data tooling
• Extensive experience with relational and document data modeling; hands-on SQL and document database experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers
• Drive architectural vision and long-term technical roadmap for the Code Gen product suite
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define features and translate business requirements into technical designs
• Lead design and implementation of complex, mission-critical components of the code transformation toolset
• Champion engineering best practices through design reviews, code reviews, and operational excellence
