💼 About This Role

You'll join Azul's legal team at a pivotal growth moment, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements while advising on AI governance and emerging technology regulation. You'll partner closely with engineering, sales, and product teams across all aspects of the business.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including NDAs, SaaS, and partnership agreements.
• Advise on AI governance, data privacy, export controls, and product security regulations.
• Partner with engineering on AI-assisted development policies and open-source compliance.
• Support incident response, regulatory inquiries, and customer audits.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years experience in commercial contracting
• J.D. degree and active California bar license
• Working knowledge of open-source licensing models
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts for legal issue-spotting
