You'll join the Content Platforms Engineering team at Tubi, building and scaling distributed systems that power the content lifecycle. Your work will directly impact video ingestion, transcoding, and playback for millions of users. This hybrid role offers a chance to collaborate across teams and mentor junior engineers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement distributed systems for content ingestion and delivery.
• Optimize content delivery and video transcoding workflows.
• Develop APIs, background jobs, and service integrations.
• Participate in on-call rotations and improve system observability.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend or distributed systems engineering.
• Experience with job processing frameworks (e.g., Oban, Sidekiq, Celery).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and gRPC/Protocol Buffers.
• Solid understanding of distributed system design fundamentals.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with content management systems for large-scale media.
• Familiarity with video transcoding tools like FFmpeg or formats like H264/HLS.
• Experience using AI-powered agents to automate workflows.
