Description

You will lead a DevSecOps team in delivering solutions for federal clients, focusing on automating DevSecOps toolkits in AWS Cloud environments and embedding cybersecurity principles throughout the Software Delivery Lifecycle. Your role involves mentoring engineers, ensuring security compliance, and maintaining systems for Authority to Operate (ATO) in client networks.

Requirements

• BS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics with 5 years’ experience as an engineering lead OR without a degree have at least 10 years’ experience as an engineering lead
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience applying agile methodologies to the system development life cycle
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Infrastructure-as-Code / Configuration-as-Code
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Commercial Cloud Services
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with GitOps
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Helm
• Minimum 1 year experience with the assessment and accreditation of a national security system (NSS)
• Experience with DevSecOps
• Active TS/SCI US Government security clearance is required

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and design effort for all tasks in the backlog (e.g. system design with AWS infrastructure, application upgrades, feature requests, bug fixes)
• Lead implementation of tasks in the backlog
• Mentor and coach the other DevSecOps engineers on the team, leveraging the Agile Manifesto as guiding principles and inspiration
• Ensure the security controls are implemented correctly (e.g. no regressions) with each release
• Ensure the Body of Evidence (BOE) is up-to-date with each release
