Description

You will lead the mechanical design and analysis of electronic ignition safety devices for rocket motors, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring systems from concept to production. Conduct structural and thermal analysis, create CAD designs, and own critical subsystems throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 8+ years mechanical design and analysis experience
• Experience qualifying electronic devices for space launch
• Bachelor's in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• Proficiency in CAD and FEA software
• Understanding of manufacturability and GD&T

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to mechanical engineers
• Perform CAD design of mechanical components
• Conduct structural and thermal analysis of electromechanical systems
• Generate and release engineering drawings
• Support prototyping, manufacturing, and test operations
