Requirements

  • 2-5 years cooking experience in LTC or similar setting preferred
  • ServSafe certification
  • Degree in Culinary science or related certificate is a plus
  • Understanding of kitchen equipment maintenance and use
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Oversee kitchen staff and monitor food production and presentation
  • Train and assist staff in proper procedures and policies
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed
  • Menu development, cost control, and budgeting
  • Ordering and inventory management
