You'll lead accounting operations for a tech-driven recyclables trading platform, overseeing month-end close, AP/AR, payroll, and cash management. You'll partner with the CFO to design scalable systems and controls that support a growing business. This role offers hands-on leadership in a mission-driven company promoting recycling.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead monthly close process with reconciliations and financial statements.
• Oversee accounts payable, billing, and cash application processes.
• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor daily cash transactions.
• Manage payroll accounting and coordinate tax filings.

📋 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA strongly preferred
• QuickBooks hands-on experience
• GAAP and internal controls knowledge

✨ Nice to Have

• SQL experience
• Supervisory experience (2+ years)
• Experience with scaling accounting processes
