💼 About This Role

You'll lead an infrastructure team building a seamless, reliable multi-cloud platform for dbt's analytics engineering products. You'll drive automation, self-service, and developer velocity while scaling a next-gen cell-based architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role offers the chance to shape the future of the modern data stack and work with world-class engineers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build, lead, and coach a team of 8-12 infrastructure engineers.
• Empower team to achieve goals with product context and ownership.
• Dive deep into product to frame tradeoffs and decisions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for delightful migration experiences.
• Coach engineers in product thinking and software engineering.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in people management with a software or infrastructure engineering team.
• Experience managing senior individual contributors (Staff+ level).
• Experience supporting cloud-based infrastructure with global deployment strategy.
• Deep understanding of Terraform and cloud infrastructure state management.

• Experience leading teams through full product development lifecycle.
• Worked asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team.
