Description
As a Legal Consultant - Employment, you will provide legal support to global HR functions, advising on employment law matters across APAC, including employee relations, workplace policies, terminations, and compliance. You will draft and negotiate employment contracts, manage external counsel, and help resolve employment disputes while collaborating with HR and management.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 6-10+ years of experience in employment law
- Strong knowledge of employment law within APAC region
- Excellent communication skills to advise non-legal stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues
- Track record of working cross-functionally and prioritizing effectively
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to global HR functions on employment matters across APAC
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts and severance agreements
- Lead management of external counsel
- Conduct legal research and monitor changes in employment laws
- Develop and deliver training programs on employment law for HR and management
