Description

You will design and implement automated solutions for Starship production, including PLC code, robot systems, and safety systems. You'll work hands-on with electrical panels, schematics, and equipment deployment to support the world's most powerful launch vehicle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 2+ years experience in automation and controls design/commissioning for industrial applications
• Ability to work extended hours/weekends and perform physical tasks up to 50lbs lift
• Comfort working at heights up to 500ft and in confined spaces
• Experience with PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal or Beckhoff TwinCat 3) preferred

Responsibilities

• Participate in equipment conceptual development balancing product specs, process, cost, and lead-time
• Design industrial electrical control panels compliant with NFPA79/NEC/UL508A and create schematics
• Architect, write, and debug PLC code for manufacturing applications
• Develop robot systems for automated manufacturing of vehicle sub-components
• Implement safety systems for robots, gantries, and conveyors
