💼 About This Role

You'll teach ESL, ELL, or bilingual students in a K-12 charter school in Newark, NJ, with a focus on college-focused academic programming and holistic family support. You'll use data-driven instruction to accelerate student learning and social-emotional development. This role offers an additional $7500 Hard to Staff Stipend annually.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Create and maintain a positive, safe, and collaborative classroom environment
• Execute network-adopted lesson plans with accommodations and modifications
• Use student data from assessments to inform and adjust instruction
• Participate in coaching meetings, professional development, and staff meetings

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid teaching license/certification or active pathway to acquire one
• Current authorization to work in the United States
• Proficiency with Google Documents, Google Sheets, and Excel
