Description

You will design and implement backend systems and APIs for an open-source observability platform, scale cloud-native infrastructure with Kubernetes and Helm, and engage with the community to tackle real-world monitoring challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills
• Deep understanding of APIs, event-driven systems, and high-throughput data pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with analytical databases (ClickHouse preferred)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or Pulumi)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend systems and APIs for observability data ingestion, query, and analysis
• Architect and maintain cloud-native deployments using Kubernetes, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code
• Define best practices for CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Engineer high-throughput data processing pipelines for petabyte-scale workloads
• Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers to incorporate feedback
