💼 About This Role

You'll build and scale Vast's red team capability from inception, defining strategy and executing adversary emulation across mission and corporate environments. You'll lead security research and assess the cyber resilience of systems, applications, and mission-critical products. You'll partner closely with engineering and security teams to drive remediation and strengthen long-term defensive maturity.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and execute red team strategy and adversary emulation across environments.
• Assess cyber resilience of systems, applications, and mission-critical products.
• Develop advanced adversary simulation tooling and methodologies.
• Partner with engineering and security teams to drive remediation and secure design.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security research or penetration testing.
• Deep understanding of operating systems, identity systems, and network protocols.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Golang, Rust, C/C++).
• Experience assessing and exploiting AWS environments and cloud-native architectures.

✨ Nice to Have

• Advanced certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, CRTO.
• Experience with AI/ML to augment red team capabilities.
• Prior assessment of space/aerospace or safety-critical systems.
