💼 About This Role

You'll join the Identity Engineering team to build secure login and authentication features for Gusto's native Android app. You'll architect, build, and refine authentication solutions that protect customer accounts while delivering a frictionless user experience. This role offers the chance to work with biometric authentication and passkey technologies at scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect, build, test, and refine Gusto's native Android app and mobile web-views
• Integrate biometric authentication and passkey functionalities
• Implement secure coding practices to protect user data
• Collaborate with product, design, and partner teams on solutions

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Kotlin Android development
• 8+ years in mobile software engineering
• Strong knowledge of GraphQL
• Working knowledge of MVVM
• Experience with Android testing frameworks

✨ Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a security-focused role or projects
• Familiarity with analytics and monitoring tools
• Familiarity with mobile infrastructure like CI/CD
