Description

As a Full Stack Software Engineer II on the Messaging Security Products team, you will design and execute software projects to enhance email security and threat visibility, focusing on building and maintaining comprehensive products from database to user interface. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features and improve SOC workflows.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or related engineering field
• 3+ years of industry experience designing and building fullstack software applications
• Expert in React, Redux, JS/Typescript
• Intermediate+ Python and/or Go skills
• Experience building features from scratch and operating them
• Open to following pre-established guidelines and coding practices
• Experience with distributed teams and asynchronous communication
• Growth-driven and able to leverage AI developer tools

Responsibilities

• Design and execute software projects critical to Abnormal's success, from conception to launch and operation
• Provide guidance and mentorship for junior team members
• Collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, and GTM teams to implement and iterate on customer requests
• Raise engineering excellence by sharing knowledge and engaging in professional development
• Contribute to team work within the first two weeks
