Description

As a Senior RCDD, you'll lead the planning, design, and implementation of structured cabling systems for Department of Defense facilities. You'll conduct site evaluations, develop Engineering Installation Plans, and ensure compliance with industry codes and government requirements, guiding projects from conception through integration.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and active DoD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in Related Field or 5 years equivalent experience
• 10+ years relevant experience as an RCDD
• 3+ years as senior/lead RCDD in DoD cable infrastructure
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and review of telecommunications infrastructure for mission-critical DoD environments
• Conduct site visits to assess telecommunications systems, equipment, and materials
• Design and maintain Inside Plant cable infrastructure (conduit, cable trays, copper, coax, fiber)
• Develop Engineering Installation Plans for cable rack installation, wiring schematics, and testing procedures
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and best practices in telecommunications design
