You'll build and maintain software infrastructure for the Smartmast platform, an edge system for autonomous maritime operations. You'll develop code that orchestrates hardware like cameras, GPS, and radar and ensures reliable data collection. This role spans from ROS development to cloud messaging for harsh environments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design software for sensor control and data acquisition across hardware platforms
• Enhance inter-process messaging with ROS2
• Optimize network usage and implement compression for satellite uplinks
• Integrate data from GPS, IMU, radar, lidar, and acoustic sensors

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years in production robotics, embedded, or distributed systems
• Advanced proficiency in Python and C++
• Practical experience with ROS2 or similar middleware
• Familiarity integrating sensors like GPS, IMU, radar, lidar, or acoustic systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in SDR programming
• Marine or aerospace deployments
