💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team of Technical Account Managers and manage key customer engagements for Benchling's AI platform for biotech R&D. Your core impact is setting delivery quality standards and serving as the senior escalation point. This role shapes the Optimization Services offerings as the company grows.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Coach and develop a team of 3-6 Technical Account Managers.
  • Serve as escalation point for project issues and own team outcomes.
  • Set delivery quality standards and lead process improvements.
  • Own OS team metrics and surface voice-of-customer insights.
  • Evolve OS offerings and support commercial scoping processes.

📋 Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Benchling product experience in a post-sales technical role.
  • Experience across multiple customer segments (startups, enterprise) and solution areas.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across levels.
  • Track record of mentoring and coaching peers toward deeper expertise.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Previous formal management or team lead experience.
  • Experience supporting Benchling sales processes (scoping, SOW).
  • Leadership role on a significant customer project or internal cross-functional work.
