💼 About This Role
You'll lead a team of Technical Account Managers and manage key customer engagements for Benchling's AI platform for biotech R&D. Your core impact is setting delivery quality standards and serving as the senior escalation point. This role shapes the Optimization Services offerings as the company grows.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Coach and develop a team of 3-6 Technical Account Managers.
- Serve as escalation point for project issues and own team outcomes.
- Set delivery quality standards and lead process improvements.
- Own OS team metrics and surface voice-of-customer insights.
- Evolve OS offerings and support commercial scoping processes.
📋 Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on Benchling product experience in a post-sales technical role.
- Experience across multiple customer segments (startups, enterprise) and solution areas.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across levels.
- Track record of mentoring and coaching peers toward deeper expertise.
✨ Nice to Have
- Previous formal management or team lead experience.
- Experience supporting Benchling sales processes (scoping, SOW).
- Leadership role on a significant customer project or internal cross-functional work.
